California Department of Health Care Services
Designed and presented a 5-part webinar series on improving client services from a culturally responsive lens, with an average attendance of 2,000 participants. Topics included addressing Structural Racialization and Recognizing and Countering Impacts of Bias.

Child Abuse Prevention Council Birth & Beyond (B&B)
Designed and implemented an action planning process for a 7-member collaborative to address disparities in African American family engagement and enhance cultural responsiveness. Our work included developing a toolkit for implementing cultural responsiveness policies and procedures.

California Mental Health Services Authority
Mental Health Services Act Prevention & Early Intervention Statewide Funding Disbursement: Served as principal consultant for the $140 million disbursement, managing recruitment, selection, and training of subject matter expert reviewers.

Sierra Health Foundation Leadership Program

Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health
Design and facilitation of ongoing monthly 1-day virtual and in-person required orientation training on the Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Service Standards (CLAS) for staff and contractors. The training, consistently rated highly for knowledge/skills building and participant engagement, is aimed at improving client services and outcomes. This ongoing effort is supported by post-training coaching and technical assistance.

Council of Large Public Housing Authorities (CLPHA)
Conducted a Membership Assessment for CLPHA, a national organization representing the nation’s 60 largest public housing authorities. The assessment identified key themes and recommendations to guide membership in their equity work.

California Institute for Mental Health
Facilitated and implemented planning processes to build the capacity of minority-led/serving community-based organizations to secure mental health services funding for underserved ethnic and cultural populations.

California Department of Public Health

San Francisco Foundation
- Bay Area Codes Collaborative Funding Project: Provided facilitation and technical assistance for this 3-year, $3 million collaborative aimed at creating a pipeline to enhance access for low-income/high potential Oakland youth of color to entrepreneurship and the tech industry.
- Community Development Program: Supported execution of $3.1 million and 130 grants in economic development and housing foreclosure as Interim Program Officer. Developed and provided onboarding training orientation for new Foundation Community Development Fellow.

Institute of Local Government
As part of a larger change management process and organizational transition, AJC Inc. designed a process to evaluate impact, plan for the future, and build capacity. Our work included facilitating meetings, conducting key informant interviews, providing technical assistance, and offering executive coaching. As a result, ILG secured additional funding to sustain their efforts.
